12 Mile

Current Trail Conditions:
Twelvemile and
Lime Creek
12 Mile, or more properly - Twelvemile, Creek is 12 miles south of Salmon on US-93.  It is another 8.7 miles to the end of the road.  This road is good but high clearance is recommended for stray rockfall along the way.

Trails in this area are generally primitive. You will need good navigational skills or, at the very least, backcountry confidence.

Specific rides and their details are below the map.

The Goldbug Hot Springs is a great option to cap off a Lime Creek run. Trailhead access is just south of Mile Marker 282 on US-93. The trail is for Hiking Only and it is about a 2 mile hike up to the Springs.

Waddington River Access is also great swimming hole on the Salmon River when summer turns up the heat. It is ~1mi North of the Lime Creek Trailhead on US-93 and just south of Rattlesnake Bridge.
